Customize your shafts to give your clubs the look you want rather than the look the manufacturers have decided you should have by choosing from a range of designs!

Protect your shafts from the knocks and scrapes of everyday usage that often result in rust spots on steels shafts and areas of wear on graphite shafts.

We have just launched our newest design – ’Crackle’. These sleeves have already ‘cracked up’ under the pressure. Of course, that would never happen to you...would it?

This two color design is available in 8 popular color combinations. So whether you want something in your college colors, a design that reflects the flag of the country of your great grandfather’s birth or you’d just like something to match you bag, we think you'll find an option to suit.

Putting them on

A light-weight, printed sleeve is fed over the grip and shrunk onto the shaft in minutes using a powerful hair dryer1.

The thin film shrinks to take the form of the shaft underneath so is suitable for all shaft types2.

Taking them off

When the sleeves are showing signs of wear or you fancy a new look, Shaft Skinz are easily removed in seconds3.

Simply run a knife down their length and lift off.

They leave no residue — you’d never know they’d been there!

You choose

Now you can play with the shafts that best suit your game but choose the look that best suits your personality. There’s a range of designs for you to choose from in a variety of colors. We sell Shaft Skinz in packs of 4 sleeves so you can try out different designs and even mix and match across your set to suit your taste. Click to see the design range.

Technical info

Shaft Skinz sleeves weigh about 3–4g depending on the length of the shaft being ‘skinned’. This equates to less than 1 swing weight which is undetectable to the human hand. We have had the sleeves tested using a renowned shaft analysis machine. This has shown a negligible increase increase (0.005%) in the stiffness measurement of the shaft being tested (before and after application).

Shaft Skinz conform to both the USGA and R&A ‘Rules of Golf’ so are suitable for all levels of competitive play from junior to professional.

  • 1 A 2kW hair dryer is recommended. A lower wattage will increase the application time and may make application difficult. (1875W is the minimum). A heat gun can be too powerful and may melt the sleeves.
  • 2 Only the removal process is different for graphite shafts.
  • 3 A sharp knife is needed. The removal from graphite shafts may take longer so as to avoid damage.
